Volkswagen vehicles

Volkswagen is the biggest European car manufacturer. With its roots leading to 1937, Volkswagen was formed as a producer of small affordable cars and it was the company that set Germans on wheels. After the Second World War, Volkswagen expanded its business and started to develop a whole variety of vehicles thus becoming the third largest car manufacturer in the world (after Toyota and GM). Volkswagen produces all kind of vehicles, while it owns a few specialised companies on production of sports cars, luxury cruisers and executive saloons. Besides producing passenger vehicles, Volkswagen also manufactures commercial vehicles including large trucks and other specialised equipment.
